Every board on this page was shaped by Gary Linden at his workshop in Oceanside, CA. These are finished, ready-to-surf boards — no wait, no custom order process. What you see is what ships.
Gary builds in three materials: balsa wood, agave wood, and polyurethane foam. Each has a different feel underfoot. Balsa is buoyant and smooth through turns. Agave is stiffer and more responsive, with a natural flex that polyurethane doesn’t have. Poly boards are the lightest option and the most familiar ride for most surfers.
