Agave Boards – In Stock

Agave boards are Gary’s most distinctive work. The material comes from the agave plant — the same plant used to make tequila — harvested in California and Kenya. Gary mills and shapes the agave himself, which means each board has a grain pattern and density that no two are exactly alike.

Agave is denser than balsa and stiffer than foam. It holds an edge well, transmits foot pressure cleanly, and has a flex pattern that feels different from anything you’ve ridden before. Gary first started working with agave as an alternative to traditional materials, and it’s now a signature part of his lineup.

Several of these boards have been shown at the Boardroom Surf Expo in Del Mar. They’re finished and ready to surf. For pickup in Oceanside or shipping arrangements, call (760) 722-8956 or send a message.
